Angie Lodrigue is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and now resides in Denham Springs, La. She is married to Edwin Lodrigue, who is also an artist and together they form LodrigueArts. Angie is professionally trained as a Registered Nurse who worked in the field for more than 20 years. Her medical practice includes Telemetry, Intensive Care and Hospice. She is now retired from her profession and presently devotes her time to her family and art. Edwin is currently a Maritime Captain, which he has been for more than 20 Years. When on land, his vibrant acrylic paintings capture the beauty he sees on the sea and coastal marine life.

Angie was not always aware of her artistic abilities. In fact, it was after the age of forty she explored her new creativity. After much trial and error, she honed her craft and continues to elevate her gift for creating functional art. 

Lodrigue Arts now has its home base in the Denham Springs Antique Village at the store Rusty Rooster. On most Sundays will be along the beautiful Mississippi Coast at the Long Beach Art and Artisans Market.
